Lucy has been a part of the healing community
for many, many years. She is well known by many practitioners and she is well-versed in a variety of healing modalities. She makes herbal tinctures, salves,
flower essences and practices a form of therapy that is very holistic and very
healing.
She teaches and practices Polarity Therapy. Polarity Therapy is a mixture of bodywork, nutrition, energy work, exercise, and counseling.
Maybe I’m just too old, but Lucy tried to explain Polarity Therapy to me, unsuccessfully. It was just way too much to absorb (at my age). I was just overwhelmed by the width and breadth of this therapy, how it comes from the Orient, from Germany, from such a rich history of healing and healing philosophies.
I enjoyed the session, though I told her that we’d have to do it again someday. It felt amazing. The energy work, bodywork and even spiritual work was very refreshing and lifting. But I really want to try this again.
Lucy is so connected to the community that she’s begun helping us here at the Directory, getting new names and selling advertising. In fact, she is the first person to ever get paid by the International Wellness Directory; our advertising sales people earn commissions. All others are strictly volunteers.
