First Do No Harm

Cream of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients (as always, as organic as possible)

2 Cups Low Sodium Vegetable or Chicken Broth

The Following Are Measured By Weight
2 oz Celery (with leaves)
2 oz Onion (sweet onion is best)
3 - 4 oz Broccoli (depending on how much you like broccoli)

1 Cup Water
1 Cup Coconut Milk Powder (this is the ONLY way to get thick coconut milk)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 rounded tsp Celtic Sea Salt
1 tsp ButterBuds
tsp Konjac Flour (to thicken)
Pepper (freshly ground is always the best)

Optional: a few mushrooms
When in season, it is possible to sweeten this recipe with a 2 oz peeled carrot or sweet corn (freshly shucked)

Editor's Note: Using Powdered Coconut Milk is so much more flexible than buying a can of coconut milk. You can make it thick or thin. I get mine from Wilderness Family Naturals. That link will bring you to Google. The reason we cannot link directly to their site is that the FDA will fine them if a site that talks about what they sell links to their site. Amerika!

Put the liquids in first, then measure and chop up the veggies, add everything else and let the NutriBullet Rx rip. Once it has gone through the slow down phase, just press the green button for 2 seconds till it turns red, and let it finish. Ready in about 10 minutes.

If you are vegan, you'll find that Annie's Organic Worcestershire Sauce is vegan. There are a few other organic versions, but you'd better check them out.
