First Do No Harm

Hawaiian Barbecued Shrimp

Editor's Note: Once in a while we write up a "less than healthy" recipe. Barbecuing by itself creates enough carcinogens, but toss in some burnt sugar and you've got a criminally delicious recipe. At the end of this recipe are supplements needed to counter the carcinogens in this recipe (in place of the Indole-3-Carbinol, eat some broccoli).

Ingredients (all organic if possible)

˝ cup Sucanat
˝ cup water
˝ cup olive oil
1 teaspoon cayenne
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoons dill
1 ˝ teaspoons tarragon
˝ teaspoons basil
1 tablespoon Celtic Sea Salt® Brand
Pinch of Black Pepper
Shrimp, pealed and cleaned

Mix all ingredients and marinate shrimp for 1 - 2 hours. Barbecue till done (pink all the way thru).

This recipe make shrimp absolutely delicious.

Next make sure you're taking a combination at least two of the supplements below. Personally, I know that for any barbecue you'll need them all.
