Optional Ingredients
(Chef Recommended)
Macadamia Nut Oil is optional (an just as healthy, if not
healthier) than Olive Oil.
1 tsp Lemon Zest (in the Lemonette)
¼ tsp black or white pepper
1 Tbl Raw Honey (or Erythritol)
1 Tbl Warm Water (added after any blending)
And MCT Oils can be used if you are
dieting. They will not cling to your fat cells! |
Your ratio for a vinaigrette is Oil to Vinegar, 3 to 1. If using
lemon juice, the ratio is 1 to 1, or 2 to one, depending on your
tastes.
First blend the salt and garlic in with either the vinegar or the
lemon juice; once thoroughly mixed, add the oil and shake before
serving.
Macadamia nut oil is healthier than Olive Oil, but studies show that
Olive Oil (it's scent) makes the brain think you're full faster.
Something to think about if dieting.
Because people can't seem to find Macadamia nut oil or MCT oils
online at a decent price, I've made sure that
Simply the Best carries
them now.
