2006 Elections

All the volunteers here want to thank the American public for getting out to vote. The results of your actions are truly historical. More incumbents were sent home because of this election than any other in our history.

We've taken back our government, now it is time to take back our country.

And, NO, I am NOT for impeachment. There is just too much work to get done. We have to fix the voting system so that every vote is counted and there are no doubts about the outcome of any election. There is much to do, and the Republicans are enormously relieved that they did not outlaw the filibuster.

We must end corruption, tip the scales back to the side of the most important class in our history, the middle class, and raise the minimum wage.

Oh yes, and stop spending money we don't have.

Oversight: what a wonderful concept.

One more thing: health freedom will always be under attack from both the right and left. We would like to think that the left would be for the individual but sadly many on the left still promote policies that take away individual rights and support a failing and corrupt medical system. Sadly, many on the left think that our medicine is science run, when in fact, it is run by money and our science is the science of the highest bidder. Our Next Newsletter

Because I get a lot of letters asking me about my photography and the programs I use, we are going to review for you a good number of software programs (for the PC) that I’ve been testing and reviewing. There are some great programs out there. After that, since I use a lot of DVD programs on which I put many slide shows, I’ll review for you some DVD editing programs.

When we receive complaints, we listen. It seems that some of our readers who have bought from one of the sites supporting us thru an affiliate program has not lived up to their promises. Ironically, I've discovered the same thing, and after a recent experience with them, followed by two letters from readers complaining about this same company, we have dropped them from our web site and sent them the following letter:

To Whom It May Concern:

Our organization has been an affiliate of yours for at least eight years. However, your sales practices are less than ethical and we are dropping you as of today.

Every time we’ve purchased from your organization, we’ve had troubles getting our rebates. Every time.

We’ve received complaints from our readers. They too can’t get their rebates.

We recently made a purchase from you of 4 external hard drives for backing up our computer. They were sold with a rebate. However, it was not until AFTER the purchase that we found out the rebate was good for “one per family.” Before purchasing we read everything on your site about the rebate looking for a limit and we found none.

The really interesting point here is that we took ALL 4 BARCODES from ALL 4 DISK DRIVES and included them. All 4 were incorrect? We returned the entire purchase.

I have another story for you.

Tom was a fisherman living on the northern Pacific Ocean in British Columbia, Canada. At one point in his life, he decided to grow shell fish. He invested his savings and built himself a shellfish farm where instead of feeding them the standard shellfish feed other farms fed theirs, he sunk a pipeline some 80 feet below the water’s surface and invented his own “extraction” technique to begin growing his own plankton. The plankton was a specific type of phytoplankton called Spring Bloom. He built up his farm to produce enough plankton, 365 days each year, to feed his shellfish with a surplus left over to recycle it back into the ocean, which has had the blessed side effect of rebuilding the reef beneath their farm, drawing in Sea Otters, Bald Eagles, and new fish and sea life.

A second unexpected effect of his home grown phytoplankton was in the size of his shellfish. They were immense compared to his competition. The local environment was blooming, animals were repopulating, and his gigantic shellfish were thriving, what could possibly go wrong?

How about Mesothelioma?

Tom was told he had a few months to live. The usual cycle each cancer patient experiences set in and Tom was filled with anger, fear, depression, denial, and acceptance.

One day, while contemplating the remarkable size of his clams, two to three times the size of his competition, he stuck his fingers into the plankton and licked them clean. Plantar Warts

Look up Plantar Wart on the web and you will see that it is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). The HPV virus has been connected to cervical cancer and venereal warts. Though there is now a vaccine for the HPV, apparently it doesn’t affect the brand that caused Plantar Warts.

If you have a Plantar Wart, you can give it away in the shower or even to people who wear your shoes. It’s a virus. It is transmitted thru contact.

Ron had someone use his Healon PF ™ on a Plantar Wart. In less than two weeks, she reported back to Ron that the wart had gone away. Before We Go

AOL has just listed some "special" products for that special Christmas. One product was a very expensive ($110.00/oz) moisturizing lotion called Crème de La Mer. The ingredients are not listed at their web site. This is most likely not an oversight.

Crème de La Mer's ingredients: seaweed (algae) extract, mineral oil\paraffinum, liquidum\huile minerale, petrolatum, glycerin, isohexadecane, citrus aurantifolia (lime) extract, microcrystalline wax \cera microcristallina\cire microcristalline, lanolin alcohol, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, eucalyptus globulus (ecalyptus) leaf oil, magnesium sulfate, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed, medicago sativa (alfalfa) seed powder, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seedcake, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) seed meal, sodium gluconate, potassium gluconate, copper gluconate, calcium gluconate, magnesium gluconate, zinc gluconate, paraffin, tocopheryl succinate, niacin, beta-carotene, decyl oleate, aluminum distearate, octyldodecanol, citric acid, cyanocobalamin, magnesium stearate, panthenol, limonene, geraniol, linalool, hydroxycitronellal, citronellol, benzyl salicylate, citral, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, alcohol denat., fragrance (parfum)

You will notice that there are some very good things in this moisturizer. However, there are some ingredients "knowing consumers" will NOT want on their skin. One of them is one of the main ingredients: mineral oil.

From Herbal Luxuries we discovered this about mineral oil:

The problem is that mineral oil is foreign to the human body and has many harmful effects, especially in infants. Some of the effects of mineral oil may be a little surprising. Mineral oil acts as a thin layer on the skin.

It is difficult to absorb and clogs the pores, which slows the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins. Remember, the skin is the body’s largest organ and plays an important role in maintaining overall health!

Once the oil is absorbed, it is broken down by the liver and passes through the intestinal tract, it will absorb all of the fat-soluble vitamins found there. It is essentially stealing important vitamins from the body, which the body will not be able to replace. This can eventually lead to nutritional deficiencies.

Studies have also shown forms of pneumonia caused by mineral oil decreasing lung unction, known as lipoid pneumonia. Because of these dangers, the medical community has condemned the use of mineral oil taken orally or as an ingredient in medications. [http://www.herballuxuries.com/mineral-oil.htm]

Another product, at the top of the list so you know that this is a main ingredient, is Petrolatum, the same stuff we know as Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.

What’s so bad about Vaseline Petroleum Jelly? For one thing, it’s been banned in the EU and seems to be a carcinogen. You can read more here: Health Report

I did some more searches on some of the other chemicals, those that you can’t pronounce.

Isohexadecane; take a search on Toxnet and you’ll find case after case of dermatitis or skin inflammation. It is considered an allergen.

Methylisothiazolinone; a powerful biocide (kills life) and preservative. Yes, this is found in a small amount, but if you found strychnine on the label of your face cream, would you care how much was in it?

At Wikipedia we found: “Some studies have shown MIT to be allergenic and cytotoxic, and this has led to some concern over its use. In early December, 2004, a news broadcast from WNYT in Albany, NY reported that methylisothiazolinone had been linked to nerve cell death in scientific studies. In 2002, there was an in vitro study of the neurotoxicity of MIT in the department of Neurobiology at the University of Pittsburgh.”

Methylchloroisothiazolinone; a preservative with antibacterial and antifungal effects found in a great number of cosmetics, but still, it’s a potent allergen and has been attacked at a carcinogen.

Benzyl Salicylate is salicycylic acid, a preservative as is hydroxycitronella.

If you ask me, there’s no question whatsoever about whose products are better, Ron Salley’s or La Mer (The Sea).

Just the other day, I was playing with a young fellow whose fingers were cut up from falling outside on gravel. His mom washed his hands while he sat in his highchair, and when she went to get him his “num-num,” he began to cry, holding his hand in the air. A friend of our work here, Tony Isaacs, has written two books; one about cancer and the other about natural health.

For those who have already had chemotherapy before using oleander, the success rate drops a bit further, but is still impressive and is considerably better than the overall success rate for chemo alone.

I decided to start an in-depth laboratory program that would investigate the role of nutrition, especially protein, in the development of cancer. What we found was shocking. Low-protein diets inhibited the initiation of cancer by aflatoxin, regardless of how much of the carcinogen was administered to theses animals. After cancer initiation was completed, low-protein diets also dramatically blocked subsequent cancer growth. In other words, the cancer-producing effects of this highly carcinogenic chemical were rendered insignificant by a low-protein diet. In fact, dietary protein proved to be so powerful in its effect that we could turn on and off cancer growth simply by changing the levels consumed.

Furthermore, the amounts of protein being fed were those that we humans routinely consume. We didn’t use extraordinary levels, as is so often the case in carcinogen studies. But that’s not all. We found that not all proteins had this effect. What protein consistently and strongly promoted cancer? Casein, which makes up 87% of cow’s milk protein, promoted all stages of the cancer process. What type of protein did not promote cancer, even at high levels of intake? The safe proteins were from plants, including wheat and soy. As this picture came into view, it began to challenge and then to shatter some of my most cherished assumptions.

Why is it called The China Study?

I went on to direct the most comprehensive study of diet, lifestyle and disease ever done with humans in the history of biomedical research. It was a massive undertaking jointly arranged through Cornell University, Oxford University and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. The New York Times called it the “Grand Prix of Epidemiology.” The project surveyed a vast range of diseases and diet and lifestyle factors in rural China and, more recently, in Taiwan. More commonly known as the China Study, this project eventually produced more than 8,000 statistically significant associations between various dietary factors and disease!

These findings - the contents of Part II of this book - show that heart disease, diabetes and obesity can be reversed by a healthy diet. Other research shows that various cancers, autoimmune diseases, bone health, kidney health, vision and brain disorders in old age (like cognitive dysfunction and Alzheimer's) are convincingly influenced by diet. Most importantly, the diet that has time and again been shown to reverse and/or prevent these diseases is the same whole foods, plant-based diet that I had found to promote optimal health in my laboratory research and in the China Study.

The findings are consistent.

Four of the extracts were shown to kill significant numbers of leukemia cells when applied for 24 hours. Depending on the extract and concentration, anywhere from about 35 percent to 86 percent of the cells died. [http://news.ufl.edu/2006/01/12/berries/]

To understand the powers of the Acai Berry apart from its antioxidant strength, let’s just take a look at the phytochemicals in their composition.

From the NCBI (National Center for Biological Information), a branch of the NIH (National Institute of Health) we found the following:

Nearly half the berry consists of essential fatty acids (Omega-3) with some omega-9s which are the healthy fats found in olive oil. The major phytochemicals found in the acai were anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, and other flavonoids, some of which had never been seen previously. A small amount of Resveratrol was found, but in very low concentrations.

Anthocyanins are potent antioxidants and free radical scavengers and exhibit immunostimulant properties, anti-viral activity, cardiovascular protection, and even stress relief activity. It is the anthocyanins in red wine that are supposed to be, though this is still only an educated guess, responsible for the “French Paradox.”

Proanthocyanidins (OPCs) are akin to the antioxidants found in grape seed and pine extract.

Both anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins have shown anti-angiogenesis (stops the growth of blood vessels to tumors) properties in the laboratory.

Sterols were also found, which, as you read above (EpiCor) are suspected to have some effect in cancer prevention and modulate the immune response, which has proved successful in treating autoimmune conditions such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. They have also been shown to positively affect allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and asthma. Recently sterols have been used to treat BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia) and there is evidence that beta-sitosterol (the predominant sterol in Acai) may help prevent immune weakness resulting from severe physical stress.

The Acai Berry contains nearly as much calcium as a comparable glass of milk, and nineteen amino acids.

All together, from its composition, you can guess that the Acai Berry fights inflammation and slows the aging process (fights wrinkles).

The nutrient analysis of the acai shows a wide spectrum of vitamins, B1, B2, B3, vitamin C, vitamin E, and a host of minerals including, iron, calcium (mentioned above), copper, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, and magnesium, and enough natural fiber to keep you regular.

Because Oprah has made this little berry so popular, there were a ton of companies to wade through looking for the best product, but I think I’ve found them. They are called Sambazon.

The people at Sambazon were the first to export the Acai Berry. The fruit is organic and the people who work in the Brazilian rainforest harvesting and drying the fruit are paid a living wage. And again, we cannot overstate the simple fact that if we harvest the rainforests of the world we will get more out of them than if we cut them down and sell off the wood. Sambazon is another company dedicated to saving our rapidly dwindling rainforests.

Most acai products are filled with sugars and mixed with other fruits. Sambazon's products are pure acai. The frozen treat they sell contains lecithin and citric acid.

Sambazon sent me some pills, a powder (for my smoothies), and some frozen packs they call Pure Acai, but really, they’re just like a flat popsicle with the most potent fruit antioxidant on the planet. And, they taste wonderful.

We used their powder in smoothies, took the pills before playing tennis, and shared the frozen product with everyone. Our local food co-op will soon be ordering them (when they get more freezer space at the new location).

I’m told that if your supermarket has a healthy foods section (sometimes called the Organic Section), take a look in the frozen foods for the Sambazon smoothies. If they don’t carry Sambazon, just ask. I’ve seen the product in about five or six stores so far, and the people there have told us it’s a big seller. We loved the product, and yes, it’s one more thing we’ll never run out of in my home.

Goji Berries are among the most hyped health foods on the internet, and Oprah didn’t have a hand in this one.

Every site lists the ingredients found in the berries, including this one: Physalein.

Go look up the word. It doesn’t exist. But it’s all over the web, well, at least it's printed up in each advertisement for Goji Berries.

As you can see, separating the hype from the usable information is very difficult, and that is where WE come in. We’ll do that for you.

The Goji Berry is hyped as the most powerful antioxidant found in fruit. It is good, but it’s only a close second to the Acai Berry.

It has nearly the same vitamins found in the Acai Berry, one less amino acid, and a host of minerals.

Where it separates itself from the Acai Berry is in the amounts of vitamins. There is more vitamin A, C, and E than in the acai, and there are mucopolysaccharides that are very immunosupportive. In fact, it is thought that the Goji contains the riches source of carotenoids of any know plant.

It is also important to note that the vitamins found in both the Acai and Goji berries are complex vitamins, not just parts. As some of you know, here we believe that vitamins are complex, that vitamin C is not just ascorbic acid and that vitamin E is not just alpha-tocopherol; that vitamins are complex substances and in their original forms, such as from fruits, they are in their most powerful form.

And one main thing separating the Goji from the Acai is that you can eat a dehydrated Goji berry. They are just very tasty. A handful and you’re on your way to a healthy day.

The Goji berry (sometimes called the Wolf berry, but the Wolf berry comes from China and is a bit different) has a long history in the Himalayans. They were used as a tonic to counter a chi deficiency, and a blood tonic. They were known to nurture the heart and relieve heart palpitations in just minutes.

For menstruating women, because the they contain fifteen times more iron than spinach, they can eat Goji to replace lost iron.

Presently the Goji is undergoing studies in Japan and Mongolia where they are being scrutinized over their anticancer properties. Each Goji contains organic Germanium (see above). The Goji contains many anticancer components that, according to initial studies, have been shown to depress or block the synthesis of cancer cells DNA, inhibiting the cancer cells ability to divide.

In one large study in japan using older patients with cancer, the berry inhibited tumor growth by 58% and a side effect that was noticed was that the proteins in the berry display an insulin like action that was very effective in the decomposition of fat.

Like the EpiCor above, the Goji berry increases the presence of immunoglobulin A that acts as a sentry guarding the entrances to your body (the mucus membranes). Also found in the Goji was superoxide dismutase, which slows the aging process and allows injured DNA to repair itself.

More studies seem to show what the people of inner Mongolia have known for centuries: those who eat the berries live free of cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes and have a life expectancy of well over 100 years. They are simply younger than those of the same age just miles away in China. And there is no such thing as dementia of any sort in the elderly.

The famed Li Qing Yuen, who apparently lived to the age of 252 years (1678-1930), consumed Goji berries daily. The life of Li Qing Yuen is the most well-documented case of extreme longevity known. [http://www.rawfood.com/cgi-bin/order/index.cgi?d=single&item_id=0572]

Studies in weight loss show that a tea made from the berries produced significant weight loss and created a noticeable energy lift in those who were in the study. Energy is required to overcome any and every illness.

Further studies show that Goji berries improves vision (the carotenoids might be the reason), lower blood pressure (and cholesterol levels), burns fat, protects the liver, and strengthens bones and muscles.

Goji berries grow in protected valleys that have been cared for over the centuries. The Goji grows on bushes with vines that reach over 15 feet. An interesting note is that the berries are never touched by hand because they will oxidize and turn black if they are touched while fresh. The berries are shaken onto mats and then shade dried.

Pomegranates have been around a long time and are just one symbol of fertility. In the Bible, the Song of Solomon often uses the pomegranate when describing his young lover (whose hair is like sheep descending a mountainside).

It has been just recently that sales of pomegranate juice has skyrocketed, and why? Well, you didn’t hear it first: Pomegranate juice protects against heart disease and cancer, and this is just the TIP of the iceberg. You can be sure you’ll be hearing more about this fruit in the near future.

In the first study I found while researching Bypassing Bypass was published in Clinical Nutrition. In this study, patients with severe carotid artery blockages were given an ounce of pomegranate juice daily for one year. At the end of that year the study showed that not only had there been a 30% reduction in atherosclerotic plaque, but that their blood pressure had lowered 20% (on average). [Aviram M, Rosenblat M, Gaitini D, et al. Pomegranate juice consumption for 3 years by patients with carotid artery stenosis reduces common carotid intima-media thickness, blood pressure and LDL oxidation. Clin Nutr 2004;23(3):423-33]

The next study I found was in the Journal of Medicinal Food (however, my greatest discovery was to find out that there was actually a journal of Medicinal Foods!)

It seems that drinking pomegranate juice (or eating the pomegranate seeds) inhibits cancer: breast, colon, prostate, and leukemia, and seems to inhibit blood vessel growth than can promote cancers (in lab animals). [Kawaii S, Lansky EP. Differentiation-promoting activity of pomegranate (Punica granatum) fruit extracts in HL-60 human promyelocytic leukemia cells. J Med Food 2004;7(1):13-8]

Filled with antioxidants and numerous bioflavonoids, pomegranate juice has shown to be just as powerful as the drugs used to reduce platelet aggregation and lower blood pressure with none of the side effects. In fact, one study showed that patients could lower their blood pressure significantly in just two weeks drinking 8 oz per day of Pomegranate juice.

Researchers all over the world are convinced that Pomegranate juice protects against cardiovascular disease and cancer, and contains more antioxidants than green tea, cranberries, and blueberries combined.

And now for a real shocker: Pomegranate juice contains phytochemical compounds that stimulate serotonin and estrogen receptors (and contains estrone, a natural estrogen), meaning that it can improve symptoms of depression and possibly help build bone mass. From PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America) or NAMBLA, we found that some doctors are using Pomegranate Juice alone as their main chemotherapy for prostate cancer. [http://www.pnas.org/cgi/content/abstract/102/41/14813]

I’ve also discovered that pomegranate juice possesses antibacterial and antiviral properties, and that historically, herbalists have used the root and bark of the pomegranate tree to eliminate tapeworms.

Personally, I'm planning on adding it to the Oleander Soup recipe in our Tony Issac's book, Cancer's Natural Enemy. The book calls for alcohol or apple cider vinegar to be added (to protect the soup from going bad quickly). We're going to try pomegranate juice and see how that goes. We'll be in touch.

Every week around 10,000 people die of cancer. Government figures show the death rate for cancer deaths has not changed in the last 10 years. Chemo and radiation only save around 10% of the people treated. So this shows our doctors don't have much to work with. As this article goes on, I will explain how to prepare this plant and how much to take. There is nothing to buy. For some reason, the Lord has picked me to carry these words to you. I am only the delivery boy, and none of this is my idea. I do believe every word I write here, and I'm living proof it works. The cost of printing is my thanks to God for giving me back my life and health.

A little over three years ago I was about done in with cancer. One morning as I was waking up and hoping the end would come soon, a voice came to me and said. "You have to do something about your prostate cancer. Take the root of the dandelion. Don't expect a miracle. It took you a long time to get in this condition." The voice was gone. I thought the voice was kidding to use the dandelion. When this voice tells you to do something, you do it. You must do it, like writing this article. It is the last thing I ever expected to do. Then I thought he didn't tell me how much to take or how to prepare it. As soon as you could blink an eye. I knew how much to take, how to prepare it, and it would take 4 to 6 months to cure me. I also knew I wasn't to make a penny on it.

As soon as I got around that morning, I dug some roots and started to prepare it. About a week later I started taking it. Three weeks later the pain in my back and side was gone and my bowels had improved. Five and one-half months later they could find no cancer problem in me at all.

I, then wanted to find someone else to try it, and that was the biggest problem yet. Nobody seems to want to help. When I told doctors, they just smiled as if I was nuts. Finally, I was telling a friend about it and he said he had a friend that was dying of lung cancer. He had it in both lungs and was bed ridden. They were tapping his lungs. He had been given 4 to 6 weeks to live. After he had been on this powder about six weeks, he was up and around doing his chores and driving his car. He went to his doctor's office, and the doctors could not believe it. They took him to the hospital and gave him a CAT scan. They found no cancer lesions in his lungs and said it was a miracle. I then put an ad in The Northwest Herald offering it free, and four people said they would try it. Slowly one person told another and it spread. There was a fair amount of people taking it for different kinds of cancer and several for other things. For instance, a man lost the use of his immune system and was told he wouldn't be able to work again for three years, in six months he is now working « days and feeling better. I know this is not a cure-all. It won't help everyone or all kinds of cancer. I know it is not a cure for skin cancer and it hasn't had luck with brain tumors. There is a doctor in Boston, Massachusetts that has developed a vaccine that is doing great things. This has been successful with prostate, colon, breast, liver and best of all with lung cancer. Five people have taken it for lung cancer and all five have been cured once. The immune system controls the cancer cells in your body. As long as the immune system is healthy, you don't usually have a cancer problem. When your immune system gets run down, it loses control of the cancer cells, and they start eating live cells and this is what they call cancer. This powder made from dandelion root has something in it that builds up the blood and the immune system.

When the immune system is built up so far, it gets back control of cancer cells, and they do an about face and start cleaning up the mess they've made. This is why you must have a fair appetite because your body must build itself up and be healthy if your immune system is going to be strong. This will not work for people that have lost their appetite or are on CHEMO. Doctors try to blast the cancer out of your body with Chemo or radiation. By doing so, it destroys your immune system and appetite. These are the most important things your body needs to beat cancer. Operations also knock the immune system haywire. This is why so many people that have operations for cancer find that a short time later it has spread somewhere else.

Many of the worst diseases that have plagued the world have been cured quite easily. When I was a boy, women dreaded the goiter more than cancer. A little iodine in the diet cured that. For hundred of years the most dreaded diseases was leprosy and lockjaw. A doctor found he could produce penicillin from moldy bread and could cure them and many more things. How long has moldy bread been around? I'm sure scientists will find many uses for the powder made from the root of the dandelions besides cancer. I have already found it builds up the blood so you heal much faster.

To make the powder from the dandelion root you must follow my directions to the letter. Any changes and it won't work. Dig a handful of dandelion roots any time of the year - it doesn't matter. Cut the leaves off just below the crown. DO NOT WASH. Then they must be dried around 100 degrees. I do it in an incubator with no water. You can also dry them under a heat light bulb if you raise or lower it so it's 100 degrees. You can also use the sun or put them in the attic if it's not too hot. It takes about 5 or 6 days in the incubator. I have not done this all the way under the heat light. When you break a root and it snaps it is ready to powder. Take an old iron frying pan and a clean hammer. Take one root at a time and place in the frying pan and start tapping. Don't hit hard or it will fly all over the place. I put my hand around the root to keep most of it in the pan. If it sticks to the hammer and pan, and doesn't crumble in your fingers, it isn't dry enough. Keep it up until you have enough to start. It takes about 20 minutes to an hour to prepare enough for a week. When you get used to it you can go much faster.

I have an old vessel that druggists used to pound pills, this goes much faster. DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC GRINDER, it won't work if you do. You lose too much of the good part in dust. You must do it as I have said or don't do it at all. I've tried shortcuts, but it seems someone was looking over my shoulder, and I know when I made a mistake. I'm just an old farmer and not a scientist, so I wouldn't know the correct amount to take on my own. Now take a little over one-half teaspoon once a day at any time and mix it with water, orange juice, etc. Do not use in soft drinks, liquor, or anything hot. When mixed, use it all. Don't let it stand around. Keep the powder in a dry place. After taking it three or four days, you will feel good, but nothing else. That is because your blood is building up. When you blood is happy, you're happy. In most cases, this will build your immune system in from three days to three weeks to the point it takes back control of cancer cells and thus the cancer stops spreading. In most cases it is going to help. There is no body feeling as it works. You just feel a little better each week. After three weeks most of the pain will be gone in your back and you know it's working if you had pain there like I did. If you have bone cancer in the spine, it will take three months to work. This is not an overnight cure. It took a while to get in this condition and it will take a while for your body to heal. The sooner you start, the quicker you will be over cancer. Young people heal faster than old people, but it will help at any age. I know because I'm 80 and have been taking it for over three years. No cancer has come back and no side effects except when my body has had enough, it lets me know by getting heart burn. Then I back off some. Some people get stomach aches when they need less. It also means your cancer is under control and you don't need as much. You will also find you probably won't catch a cold while you are taking it full-strength.

The biggest enemy for this root is Chemo. The stronger the Chemo, the less chance the power has to help you as Chemo tears your immune system and appetite down, two of the most important things you need to cure cancer. There is only a ten percent chance Chemo will cure you. With no chemo, your chances are 75 to 80% but you must take it every day. Don't let your doctor give you that old treat if you turn him down that goes, "If you want to throw your life away, I can't stop you." Just remember that 90% of the people that take his advice and take chemo are in the cemetery. Don't blame the doctor, he is doing his best with what he has to work with or you could ask for a written guarantee.

I have only mentioned cancers that I know people have had and used this root. It should help pancreas cancer if taken before the appetite is gone and most body cancer. This is food, not a drug. It shouldn't interfere with medicine your doctor may be giving you. Only two doctors have told patients to keep taking the power when they have made a miracle recovery. The rest of the doctors have run the power down and blasted the people even if the cancer has disappeared.

The medical world is not going to accept this easily.

Going back to not washing the roots and leaving a little soil on them, it is for your own good. A good bit of immunity comes from the soil, it starts as soon as you are born. Your fingers touch something, and you put them in your mouth. A little dirt at first, and more as you grow older and start crawling. Then everything you touch goes in the mouth. When children go outside to play and when they come in, they are the dirtiest around the mouth and hand. The hands go in their mouths no matter how dirty they are. Many diseases and bacteria live in the ground, but they don't seem to cause any trouble but it does build up the immune system. Some animals can't live if they can't eat a certain amount of soil. If you read this article over, you will see it all goes back to common sense. I wish all of you people with cancer and other problems the best.

If you take Tylenol for four days as directed you may be at risk of liver damage, says a new study. Tylenol has been on the market for decades. Previous studies had shown that Tylenol in combination with hydrocodone caused liver damage - experts had thought the liver toxicity was associated with hydrocodone. This new study clearly shows that the Tylenol poses the risk, rather than the hydrocodone.

Researchers from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA, were surprised when they found out that the liver damage had nothing to do with the opiate (hydrocodone). They found a previously unrecognized but pretty remarkable effect of acetaminophen (Tylenol) alone when taken as directed for four days.

The scientists said that patients who really need Tylenol should not stop taking it. If they are concerned they should discuss their medication with their doctor before considering switching.

Tylenol is a popular painkiller taken by millions of people all over the world. It is an alternative to aspirin for people who are concerned about its gastrointestinal side-effects.

The researchers found out about Tylenol's effect on liver enzyme levels while they were carrying out a trial on a therapy which included a narcotic drug, hydrocodone, in combination with acetaminophen. The focus was on the liver toxicity effect of the narcotic drug. However, Purdue Pharma, which funded the trial, found that several healthy subjects had high levels of specific liver enzymes - usually an indicator of a health risk for the liver.

The trial was stopped and another team was called in to carry out a new trial which found that Tylenol was the cause of the liver problems. You can read about the current trial in the Journal of the American Medical Association, 5 July issue.

The new trial involved 145 healthy volunteers. They were divided into three groups. The first group received a acetaminophen/opioid combination, the second acetaminophen alone, and the third group received a placebo. They were on their medication(s) or placebo for 14 days. The acetaminophen only group received the maximum recommended daily dosage.

The maximum ALT measurements for each group were as follows:
How many had a maximum ALT measurement 3 times higher than the upper limit of normal:

-- Placebo group - 0%
-- Combination acetaminophen/opioid group - 31% to 44%
-- Acetaminophen only group - 31% to 44%

These results indicate that it was the Acetaminophen, rather than the opioid, that was having the effect.

Dr. Paul Watkins, lead author, said “It was so unbelievable that I am conducting an ongoing study with 50 people. That's not in the JAMA paper, but we're finding that it verifies the findings….I'm quite convinced that if we continue to treat people, they would come back to normal, so that about after a month, I believe liver chemistries would be normal, even continuing.” In other words, Watkins believes readings settle down after longer term usage of Acetaminophen.

It is possible that elevated readings of a liver enzyme may not be accurate indicators of risk. Watkins added “In the past, when we've seen liver enzyme abnormalities to this extent, it has indicated to us physicians that there is significant liver injury or damage occurring. Since we have decades of experience and know the safety of acetaminophen, are the tests as good as we thought they were? Maybe they're not good predictors as to which drugs are going to have liver problems.”

How many doctors have stopped other medications which were given in combination with acetaminophen? As recommended doses of acetaminophen have not been previously recognized to cause liver enzyme elevations, doctors may have carried out costly liver evaluations unnecessarily. Watkins wondered how many other drugs, such as statins, may have been stopped because doctors suspected they were causing liver problems, when in fact, it was the acetaminophen.

Review of Magnascent™

As stated above, this form of iodine goes by many names. This latest name is not just a change in the name; the iodine is produced in a different manner and has different properties.

Atomidine (detoxified iodine or nascent iodine) is a creation of Edgar Cayce; he described how to make it while in a trance.

The first form of it we reviewed (see IODINE), was made using Cayce’s first instructions. However, Cayce, in a later “reading” made modifications to his original formula.

The first method was this: in a 3 gallon bath, 16 ounces of iodine (a 1% solution in alcohol, commonly referred to as a tincture) is bathed for five minutes in an electromagnetic field of 10 amps of resistance.

Magnascent™ is created slightly differently from the above. In a one gallon bath, just one ounce of iodine (a 1% solution in alcohol) is bathed for 15 – 20 minutes in an electromagnetic field of 30 amps of resistance.

This second method, it is theorized, achieves a nascent state of iodine by breaking the diatomic bond (the bond between two molecules) and elevating the energy of the iodine atom.

We are privy to studies currently being conducted in Israel and Africa using Magnascent™.

In Israel, they had some amazing results on malaria in mice. When they ran out of the Magnascent™, they asked for more but got the first version. They stopped the study because they simply could not replicate their earlier results.

In Africa, where it is also being tested successfully on malaria, but on humans, one person wrote to the manufacturer his testimonial. W returned to the office after taking 3 series of 6 autogenous injections with Dr. Sam. She is a patient who suffered from ovarian cancer with metastasis to the omentum and peritoneum.

Recent lab work shoed a change from her surgery, where she was 498 for the CA125. She is now a 55 with a normal scale of 0 – 35. Because of our legal hassles and money issues, I’ve not spent much time posting my photography online. Everyone associated with our organization has been focusing on just staying above water. We’ve had to go VERY commercial, loading tons of ads at our site and I’ve been spending way too much money looking for fund raisers and grant writers.

I am also working with a woman who sells art to come up with a strategy for selling my best photos in such a way that will bring in some good money. So, expect soon a web site selling signed and numbered collector editions of some of my pictures.

The good news is that I’ve won 4 awards since last year.

My first good shots of this year finally produced success. For over 10 years I’ve been trying to capture a good shot of a wood duck. I’ve sat under a picnic table, covered with bed sheets, and my lens sticking out. I’ve taken hundreds of pictures of wood ducks, but there was not enough light to capture their colors. And then, when the light finally reached the water, there were no ducks.

This year, I got him. The light hit the water and this handsome fellow showed up. I took seven very quick pictures, and this is the best. If you go to this site, you can see pictures of him and his bride: Nature Photos Page One

This summer, I had a reunion with my unit from Vietnam. Because I am a photographer, I drive to locations. I was told that I just had to capture the Cumberland Falls in Kentucky. That was my first stop. I took well over 30 pictures there, and for some of them I used a neutral density filter which is like dark sunglasses. It allows less light in, thus allowing me to keep the shutter open just a little longer. This shot had the shutter open for a third of a second. To grasp the actual size of the falls, all you have to do is find the man in the flat bottomed boat in the bottom right of the photo.

Here he is blown up, and you’ll see that he’s a bit out of focus, mainly because the shutter was open for a third of a second. The amazing thing is how good he looks anyway, considering the lens was open that long.

I’m very happy how this turned out.

In Alabama we went to the Army Air Museum where I took hundreds of pictures, but have not yet posted them. Someday I’ll have to post all the pix to my trip; someday when I get enough time to do this.

But it was a foggy morning, just an hour outside of Washington DC when I captured the picture of a lifetime.

The roads are very thin with no shoulders. There was a light fog over everything and I had been up all night waiting for these movements. I had prayed for fog because I knew of the rolling hills, the horses in the fields, the beautiful farms, and the famous rock walls. I took a lot of shots that morning. But, while driving along at fifty miles per hour, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something and asked myself, “Did I just see swans?”

I quickly stopped the car and pulled off the road nearly rolling over. I put my emergency flashers on and ran back and took 18 pictures.

Here is the picture of a life time; it’s won three awards already and is going into a book of photography called Endless Journeys.

And finally, I have a picture of a model that I can post here, because even though it is nude, it’s suitable for mixed company and any age group. I call her the Golden Girl.

WASHINGTON, DC (September 19) Mercury pollution is making its way into nearly every habitat in the U.S., exposing countless species of wildlife to potentially harmful levels of mercury, a new report from the National Wildlife Federation shows.

“From songbirds to alligators, turtles to bats, eagles to otters, mercury is accumulating in nearly every corner of the food chain,” says Catherine Bowes, Northeast Program Manager for the National Wildlife Federation and principal author of the report. “This report paints a compelling picture of mercury contamination in the U.S., and many more species are at risk than we previously thought. Fish, long thought to be the key species affected by mercury, are just the tip of the iceberg.”

The National Wildlife Federation report, Poisoning Wildlife: The Reality of Mercury Pollution, is a compilation of over 65 published studies finding elevated levels of mercury in a wide range of wildlife species. The report highlights mercury levels in fish, mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in freshwater, marine, and forest habitats from across the country.

The accumulation of mercury in fish has been well-understood for years, leading 46 states in the U.S. to issue consumption advisories warning people to limit or avoid eating certain species of fish. However, scientists have recently discovered that mercury accumulates in forest soils, indicating that wildlife that live and feed outside aquatic habitats are also at risk of exposure to mercury.

“Scientific understanding of the extent of mercury contamination in wildlife has expanded significantly in recent years,” says Dr. David Evers of the Biodiversity Research Institute, wildlife toxicologist and leading researcher in this field. “We are finding mercury accumulation in far more species, and at much higher levels, than we previously thought was occurring. This poses a very real threat to the health of many wildlife populations, some of which are highly endangered.”

Mercury accumulation in fish is not only a concern for the health of people who eat them, it also poses a threat to the fish themselves. Poisoning Wildlife pulls together the major findings from over 20 of the 65 published studies that attribute adverse health impacts on fish, birds, and mammals with elevated mercury levels in those species. Fish with high mercury levels have difficulty schooling and spawning, birds lay fewer eggs and have trouble caring for their chicks, and mammals have impaired motor skills that affect their ability to hunt and find food.

Several states have already taken action to reduce mercury pollution from major sources like waste incinerators, chlorine manufacturers, power plants, and consumer products, and the results are very promising. In places where mercury emissions have been cut, such as Florida, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, mercury levels in fish and wildlife have been reduced in a matter of years, not decades, as scientists have previously thought.

“Now that we have hard evidence that mercury is affecting more species than originally thought, anything short of phasing out this toxic metal is inadequate,” says Bowes. “The discovery of mercury in so many different species is a wake-up call. We need to ensure that all is being done to help wildlife cope with the stresses of a changing climate. Eliminating known threats like mercury is a critical place to start.”

The scientific studies compiled in the report show mercury in a wide variety of species:

• Freshwater Fish: Brook Trout, Walleye, Yellow Perch, Rainbow Trout, Northern Perch, Largemouth Bass
• Birds in Aquatic Habitats: Bald Eagle, Great Egret, Wood Stork, Northern Shoveler, Common Loon, Red-winged Blackbird, White Ibis, Common Tern, Belted Kingfisher
• Birds in Forest Habitats: Wood Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo, Louisiana Waterthrush, Bicknell’s Thrush, Carolina Wren, Prothonotary Warbler
• Mammals: Florida Panther, Indiana Bat, Mink, River Otter, Raccoon

Last week, I told you about a wonderful beverage you can drink instead of water. Unfortunately, many people drink soft drinks instead of water. You may already know how terrible these beverages are for you health. Even if it's one of the heavily advertised sugar-free drinks, the artificial sweeteners can create major problems. There's no evidence that using them helps you lose weight. And some chemicals, such as aspartame, can damage your neurons.

But now there's an even bigger reason to avoid soft drinks. Many of these drinks have sodium benzoate as an ingredient. It's a common preservative you'll find in many processed foods. Food manufacturers typically use sodium benzoate in acidic foods because it controls bacteria, mold, yeasts, and other microbes. In addition to soft drinks, you'll find it in juices, pickles, salad dressings, and jams. You'll also find it in your car's anti-freeze, as it also inhibits corrosion.

By itself, there's no evidence the preservative causes any problems in people. However, when you mix sodium benzoate with ascorbic acid (vitamin C), a chemical reaction occurs. It turns the mixture into benzene. And benzene is a proven carcinogen.

In an effort to make their drinks more nutritious, many soft drink manufacturers are adding vitamin C to their drinks. And you'll also find the same problem with naturally occurring vitamin C in many canned juice drinks.

How bad is the problem? The FDA recently tested 84 soft drink products and found that 54 of them had some detectable benzene. And some had levels as high as 79.2 ppb. Federal rules specify less than 5 ppb in drinking water. But there's no legal limit on benzene in drinkable fluids other than water. Isn't that a bit strange? In 2001, California published information that manufacturers should keep benzene levels below 0.15 ppb.

The soft drink industry is quietly moving to do something about it. That's about 15 years too late. Testing in 1990 first revealed that some diet soft drinks may contain benzene.

Action to take: This is not a small thing, although the so-called experts will try to tell you that there's no harm at these benzene levels. But there is no safe level of benzene. And no one is talking about how it reacts with other carcinogens in your body, which could be a serious problem. We already know it reacts with healthy substances like vitamin C.

There is a solution. Eliminate all processed foods and unnatural drinks. All processed foods have chemicals in them for preservation. And many of these preservatives can damage your health.

A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool. After catching his breath, he ordered a banana split.

The waitress asked kindly, "Crushed nuts?"

"No," he replied, "arthritis."

Morris, a 72 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.

A couple of days later the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?"

Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc. 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.'"

The doctor said, "I didn't say that. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur. Be careful.'"

A man was telling his neighbor, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect."

"Really," answered the neighbor. "What kind is it?"

"Twelve thirty."

A couple in their seventies are both having problems remembering things. They decide to go to the doctor for a checkup. The  doctor tells them that they're physically okay,  but they might want to start writing things down  to help them remember.

Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair and his wife asks, "Where are you going?"

"To the kitchen" he replies.

"Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?"

"Sure."

"Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?" she asks.

"No, I can remember it."

"Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. You'd better write it down because you know you'll
forget it."

He says, "I can remember that! You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries."

"I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, so you'd better write it down!" she
retorts.

Irritated, he says, "I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Leave me alone! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it, for goodness sake!" Then he grumbles off into the
kitchen.

After about 20 minutes the old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon
and eggs. She stares at the plate for a moment and says, “I knew you should have written it down. You forgot my toast.”

A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy: "So I hear you're getting married?"

"Yep!"

”Do I know her?"

"Nope."

"This woman, is she good looking?"

"Not really."

"Is she a good cook?"

"Naw, she can't cook too well."

"Does she have lots of money?"

"Nope. Poor as a church mouse."

"Well then, is she good in bed?"

"I don't know."

"Why in the world do you want to marry her then?"

"Because she can still drive!"

Since you’ve made it this far, all the way to the end, I have a special treat for you.

I’m a movie buff. I must have a collection of well over 3000 movies on DVD. When I create a DVD (I Tivo classics daily), I like to put some cartoons on the DVD too. People my age remember back to a time when the movie was first preceded by a cartoon. Today we’re bombarded with previews.

I’m a bit of a classic cartoon buff too. I have nearly all of Bette Boop, including a few in which Cab Calloway sings about cocaine and heroin and one with Louis Armstrong, his first time ever in a film, in which he sang: I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead, You Rascal You.

I’ve recently recorded Bugs Bunny’s first cartoon, Porky Pig’s first, Pepé Le Pew’s first, and Tweety Bird’s first cartoon when he was pink, not yellow.

I’d heard that during the war, Hollywood got away with things because the censors weren’t on their toes. And I’d heard that there was a Bugs Bunny cartoon in which he steps out of a shower, his towel drops for a second, and for four frames, we see his furry penis. So, for a few years now, I’ve been watching a lot of Bugs Bunny. You won’t believe how many showers this rabbit has taken. But just last month, I finally found it. I slowed the scene down and sure enough, the urban legend was right this time.

Interestingly enough, I’m a contributor at the Internet Movie Database, and this is one update they’ve refused to publish.
